We are looking for a Refractory Mason in a reputed company. The main task is to perform repetitive, specific tasks under close supervision, operate tools, record information, and assist skilled employees in the assigned plant area.
Responsibility:
- Assist skilled employees in either operations or maintenance while maintaining high degree of quality and safety standards.
- Ensure housekeeping of the assigned work areas to the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the company following 5S principles and instructions.
- Provide appropriate tools to the crew members
- Hold, lift, fetch and move parts/materials as directed.
- Perform tasks entrusted according to the expected performance level following safety regulations and work procedure.
- To carry out variety of refractory maintenance tasks in Anode Bake Furnace under the guidance of Refractory maintenance supervisor / technician
- Schooling and reasonable English
- Two-year experience in performing physical work and/or semi-skilled jobs preferably in an industrial environment.
- Ability to understand simple instructions (oral or written) and request clarifications (if needed) in English. .
- Physically strong & agile to perform laborious tasks.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Basic numeracy skills
- Knowledge of maintenance tools
