About the role
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager who can work at pace, to join our team to cover a period of Maternity leave (with potential to extend). This role will predominately be focused on attracting, recruiting and hiring talent to our internal team (based in UK and Dubai), as well as growing our global freelancer talent pool. You will have end to end responsibility for the entire hiring process, to include job design and on-boarding through to off-boarding, with a focus on inclusive hiring practices and ensuring a positive experience for all candidates. You will get involved in the operational delivery, as well as strategic thinking around the workforce and will be comfortable with engaging with team members across the globe to understand issues and challenges and help resolve these. In addition this role will provide support and advice to our employees and freelancers working across the world and will be the first point of contact for all people related queries. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead on all recruitment processes alongside our UK based Recruitment Coordinator, to include: writing job descriptions and job adverts, shortlisting and interviewing
Using a creative approach to develop and implement our global sourcing strategy
To work alongside our Content & Digital Designer to design eye catching and engaging job adverts / promotional social media posts
To ensure a smooth on-boarding and off-boarding process for our freelancers and employees, ensuring coordination with cross-functional departments
To work closely with the CEO and leadership team to proactively plan teams for upcoming projects, which can often be at short notice
To manage our Talent Pool database and to proactively support and engage potential freelancers
Overseeing and managing all HR related functions of the business
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment law and HR best practice to ensure advice and guidance is both accurate and up-to-date; and ensure management are appropriately updated on new employment legislation
To work with our Head of Finance to ensure we are working inline with IR35 regulations
Responding to any HR related aspects of RFPs and pitches
To manage our employee annual leave and TOIL process
Manage our employee sickness and absence policy and process
Provide guidance and support regarding Maternity Leave/Pay, Flexible Working, Paternity/Parental Leave
Carry out appropriate checks on the current status of employees in relation to their eligibility to work and ensuring their compliance to the terms of their visas where appropriate
Ensure all appropriate policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to with clear audit trails and maintain all personnel records in accordance with GDPR
To develop the capability of managers within the Company to manage their team members effectively
To coach and mentor staff as needed, and suggest ways to ensure employees enjoy and get the most out of their work life.
You will act as a role model for the Far and Beyond values and will work with the team to ensure these are embedded into everything we do

About you
ESSENTIAL
Based in Dubai
Extensive recruitment experience, and ideally experience of leading a recruitment department / function
Experience of working at pace to meet the recruitment demands we have this year and next to grow the business
Experience of providing HR advice, guidance, and support service, reflecting the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s values, policies and procedures..
Excellent up-to-date knowledge of UAE employment legislation and best practice in policies and processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and influence as well as having the confidence to challenge current practices appropriately
Able to troubleshoot independently
DESIRABLE
Experience of working with the events industry
Level 5/7 CIPD qualified or equivalent
Knowledge of UK employment law
Experience of working in a rapidly expanding company
Coaching qualification
Experience of using an ATS
Proficient in using G-Suite
SALARY 22,000 AED CONTRACT TYPE Full time, one year fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave (with possibility to extend) LOCATION: This role will be expected to work in our Dubai office; but travel as required per project INCLUDED IN THE ROLE
