Human Resources Manager - Dubai
25,000 - 35,000 AED per month + benefits
MUST BE LIVING IN DUBAI

We have partnered with a company in the GCC region who are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. It is expanding and growing so they are seeking a HR Manager to assist with driving the business meeting their employee needs across multiple offices in the GCC region.

Talent Acquisition
  • Recruiting across the organization at all levels;
  • Identifying successful, cost effective methods of advertising and recruiting for job vacancies;
  • Increasing brand awareness to generate and encourage a high calibre of candidates;
  • Working closely with the Line Managers to identify required skills, qualifications, and experience to effectively screen all applications;
  • Developing and improving recruitment methods and processes to streamline recruitment processes, as well as limiting the required time from Line Managers;
  • Implementing best practices across all recruitment stages, utilizing screening products; and
  • Negotiating compensation and benefit packages with candidates.
Job Development & Planning
  • Working closely with each head of department to understand all roles within the organization;
  • Developing and reviewing, with the assistance of applicable head of departments, job descriptions, required qualifications, experience and knowledge for each role; and
  • Identifying skills gaps within departments and existing employee capabilities. Incorporating identified skills gap into headcount planning and candidate screening.
Employee Life-Cycle Management
  • Managing, building and reviewing the employee life-cycle management of the firm;
  • Managing all employee on-boarding and off-boarding;
  • Developing processes that add value to the firm, are in line with local labour laws and provide effective and efficient means of employee management;
  • Managing the firms performance management system and adds value to the existing process;
  • Identifying, in conjunction with heads of department and Line Managers, any employee cultural or performance issues; and
  • Managing, in conjunction with the PRO, employee visa processes.
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Managing, and working closely with the Finance Department to ensure the timely delivery of, employee remuneration and benefits;
  • Providing data and intelligence on benchmarking, industry standards and general trends across the region;
  • Managing all employee health insurance policies and negotiating renewals that provide all suitable coverage for employees whilst obtaining rates that are within assigned budgets;
  • Managing the administration of the Employee Equity Scheme and effectively communicating the scheme to employees and candidates;
  • Advising and guiding Line Managers and Executive Management on salary ranges, benefit ranges and allowances, and industry standards; and
  • Managing, maintaining and coordinating all GCC pension plans.
Regulator & Labour Law Framework
  • Working closely with the Legal and Compliance Department to ensure that regulator requirements, including training, are met for all employees;
  • Understanding and implementing effective and alternative staffing solutions to provide any required registered staff for all regulated licenses;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws for each country in which the firm has employees; and
  • Maintaining and staying up-to-date with all relevant labour law, and any changes and amendments thereto, and notifying relevant stakeholders where such amendments may affect the firm and its employees.
Leadership
  • An active member of the firms Senior Management Team, working with internal stakeholders and peers on strategic initiatives and decisions;
  • Line management of at least 3 individuals including the firms PRO;
  • Part of the Audit Committee, working alongside Legal and Compliance to identify, challenge and mitigate company-wide risks; and
  • Develop and maintain value-add relationships at all levels of the Company.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

To be successful and to be considered in this role they are seeking someone with 4+ years\' experience managing a HR Department within Private Family Offices or Finance / Fin Tech start-ups. Candidates who have experience running HR in multiple countries in the GCC region is desirable.
  • Total competency in managing the end to end recruitment process;
  • Outside-the-box thinking towards talent acquisition, taking a constant pro-active approach to hiring and candidate engagement;
  • Stakeholder management, with the ability to articulate, present and discuss strategies, methods, and alternatives with all levels as well as with investors;
  • Significant experience with BambooHR, or similar cloud based HRIS;
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels and identify and resolve any employee grievances and/or under performance;
  • Able to develop and execute employee lifecycle management, including effective on-boarding and off-boarding strategies; and
  • Ability to negotiate salary and benefit packages with candidates;
  • You must be motivated, driven and personable;
  • Must be living in the UAE
  • Western educated
