The opportunity

Working as part of a dedicated recruitment function that operates at every level within the business, partnering with hiring managers across the region, building relationships throughout the organisation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position, and meeting competitive hiring goals and managing expectations.

The role is responsible for the full recruiting Lifecycle across a variety of roles, identifying, interviewing and selecting local or ex-pat employees both internally and externally for Mace international ensuring current and future staffing requirements are met on time and with the best available talent that matches both the role profile and the company culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

Headhunting the best talent in the market from competitors or relevant companies within the construction and property market.

Identifying people with the right skills, right experience and the right behavioural and cultural fit for Mace and its clients.

Identifying internal talent and promoting internal mobility.

Using all sourcing methods including social media, and CV searching the internal and external databases.

Generating referrals from existing employees, raising the profile of the employee referral scheme.

Providing feedback and suggestions on job applications.

Supporting prospects and bidding activity by working on unsecured roles.

Supporting hiring managers by guiding them on the recruitment process.

Conducting detailed proficiency and behavioural-based interviews to ensure candidates' skills and qualifications match the job requirements.

Following up on interview process status, encouraging line managers to give full feedback and influencing in their decision-making.

Taking references on candidates from previous colleagues/line managers

Maintaining the database of candidates' records, including active and passive prospects. maximising the use of the Phenom applicant tracking system, tagging candidates, lists, and campaigns.

Seeking relevant approvals for hires and managing through the Taleo system.

Being an advocate for Mace, having a full understanding of the values, vision behaviours and processes.

Having a deep understanding of the business, sectors, projects, clients and operating model.

Updating project trackers, Global recruitment reports with candidates in the process, reviewing position start dates.

Reviewing Power BI dashboards on KPIs.

Writing and posting adverts on the internal and external Mace websites and relevant job Boards.

About you

You are digitally savvy, can build recruitment strategies that leverage the employment brand and are able to demonstrate working in fast and complex environments, ideally spanning the MENA region.

Your significant end-to-end recruitment experience within construction, property or engineering is essential as is your experience assessing a candidate's behavioural and cultural fit to ensure we are attracting the best people into the business.
