POSITION PURPOSE

As a Recreation Supervisor, you are to assist and support the Assistant Recreation Manager in all operational procedures and codes of conduct as set down by the management and to promote the recreational facilities and services. To ensure the smooth running of the recreational facilities and represent the interests of the company at all times. To assist the Manager with the training and development, implementation of the recreation budget, marketing objectives, operational criteria, programming, staff relations and training, facility upkeep, and superior guest relations. You will also assist in cross promotion of the Recreation offerings and Nation Riviera memberships. In this role, you will take full management responsibilities of Pool & beach Area in the absence of the Assistant Manager. You have to ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner such as daily checklist for lifeguard and attendants and to ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Any of the Pool and Beach Lifeguard Certificates from Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Nation Beach Lifeguard Qualification (NBLQ) and/ or American Red Cross Certification.
• Certified First Aider and CPR.
• Experienced and qualified lifeguard is a must.
• Must have strong knowledge of PMS, book4time, HITS
• Must have basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoints
• Physically fit and able to work long hours in an outside environment are essentials.
• The ability to supervise others, good command of English and good interpersonal abilities are essentials.
• Must be able to assist guests with inquiries
• Must be able to speak and write in English
• Must be able to speak and write in a language any other than English
• Must have strong sales skills to drive memberships
• Must have Knowledge about Bonvoy, Guestvoice

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Experience

Must have at least 24 months experience in the luxury hospitality industry. More experience preferred.
