Job Description

To contribute to the growth and long-term profitability of the IKEA store through systems and methods for lowering costs, increasing quality perception, handling quality matters and maximising profit. This is done by: - driving co-operation across functions and focussing on damages, sales errors and quality problems, thereby preventing costs to occur in the first place. - utilising the right methods for optimising the revenue from IKEA products that would otherwise not be possible to sell. - contribute to the IKEA sustainability goals by giving products a second chance, or through sustainable divestment of products where this is not possible. To lead, develop and manage the recovery and quality work in her or his store. To prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance while keeping the bottom line profit and sustainability in mind. This is achieved through continuous development, follow ups and support for working methods, processes and tools. To work proactively across functions and together with the relevant quality matrix identify, investigate, report and follow up potential improvements regarding the quality associated with IKEA products. To secure the Recovery department's contribution to business goals through representation in the store and national forums.
