Job Summary

:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations at Laya Developers. The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing the company's budget. This role demands a strong understanding of accounting principles, real estate development finance, and compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

:

Financial Reporting

: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports, statements, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards and local UAE regulations.

General Ledger Management

: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting

: Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with the development and project management teams.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

: Manage AP/AR processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and invoicing to clients. Reconcile all accounts regularly.

Cash Flow Management

: Monitor cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for project-related expenditures and operational needs.

Tax Compliance

: Ensure compliance with VAT laws and other UAE tax regulations. Handle tax filings and ensure timely submissions to authorities.

Audit Coordination

: Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits. Prepare audit schedules and support documents as required.

Cost Control

: Track and manage project-related costs, ensuring they align with approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Analysis

: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership

: Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance on complex financial matters.

System Implementation

: Participate in the implementation of accounting systems, ensuring they are optimized for the company's needs.

Stakeholder Communication

: Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Experience:

Accounting: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:

Chartered Accountant Degree (Required)
