Job Summary: As a Raw Material Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing the materials that go into the products produced by the Company. You will be working with suppliers to determine which raw materials will be used in production, negotiate prices and terms of purchase. Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all activities related to procurement of a row materials from local sources beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
- Create PO for the supplier & send notification to concerned departments to inform them with the new order.
- Follow up the Purchase orders process till receiving the goods in our warehouses.
- Ensures that the product fulfils the company's quality requirements and is delivered on time, at the agreed-upon price.
- Extracting the monthly receivable material reports.
- Keeps track of performance indicators including cost, cost-effectiveness, and service level compliance.
- Sourcing new suppliers to develop the approval suppliers list.
- Develop cost-effective raw material sourcing techniques while keeping product quality and safety criteria.
- Coordinate with the planning department to ensure smooth flow of raw materials.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant major
- 2-4 years' experience in the same position
- FMCG Experience
