We are looking for a

Quantity Surveyor-Site

for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE

Qualifications & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost estimation methodologies.
Activities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects Utilize historical data and market analysis to inform cost projections. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, implementing effective cost control measures to minimize variances. Conduct regular financial reporting, highlighting key trends and potential risks. Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies throughout the project. Conduct site visits and measurements to verify quantities and progress of work. Prepare interim valuations and final accounts in collaboration with project teams. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and cost management. Assist in the assessment of change orders and variations, providing recommendations for cost adjustments. Contribute to the development of best practices in quantity surveying and cost management. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technologies affecting quantity surveying.
