Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in value engineering, quantity take-offs, and variation valuations, with a strong ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and internal management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement value engineering proposals to reduce cost and improve efficiency. Prepare, evaluate, and submit variation claims, ensuring timely approvals from consultants and clients. Coordinate with the engineering department, project management, consultants, and client representatives for technical and commercial submissions. Perform detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications. Ensure all commercial and contractual documentation is accurately maintained. Support in cost planning, budgeting, and procurement evaluations.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. 5-8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (preferably in Doha). Proven track record in value engineering, variation claims, and cost control. Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, and project specifications. Familiar with local market rates, contract terms, and consultant/client coordination processes. Proficiency in industry software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, etc.). Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
