Quantity Surveyor (QS)

to join our team in

Mogadishu, Somalia

.

Key Responsibilities:

? Prepare detailed

cost estimates, budgets, rate analyses, and tender documents

.
? Calculate the

quantities of all materials

and prepare comprehensive material log sheets.
? Prepare

payment invoices/certificates

and follow up with clients for approval and processing.
? Review and

certify subcontractor payment invoices

accurately.
? Manage

contracts, procurement processes

, and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
? Monitor

project costs

, track variations, and provide timely

financial and progress reports

.
? Collaborate closely with

project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors

to ensure cost-effective operations.
? Ensure full compliance with

project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements

.
? Conduct

risk assessments

and apply

value engineering

to optimize project expenditures.
? Support smooth project delivery by

forecasting costs

and managing

cash flow

efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

.
? Minimum

8 years' experience

as a Quantity Surveyor in

building or infrastructure projects

.
? Strong knowledge of

cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement

.
? Proficiency in

MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software

(e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
? Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
? High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
? Ability to work in a

multicultural, fast-paced project environment

.
