Euro Systems is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor (QS)

with proven expertise in the facade and aluminum industries. This is a strategic role focused on cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control for high-profile facade and aluminum projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, competitive procurement, and overall project profitability.

Key ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation & Budgeting

Prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, and related project costs specific to facade and aluminum systems. Develop comprehensive cost plans, tender documentation, and budgets in alignment with project specifications. Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and cost efficiency. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to generate cost forecasts and monitor ongoing expenditures.

Quantity Surveying

Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings for facade and aluminum works. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), schedules of rates, and tender packages. Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes; support vendor negotiations to achieve favorable terms. Manage and assess variations, change orders, and their cost/schedule implications.

Cost Control & Reporting

Track actual project costs against approved budgets and identify discrepancies or overruns. Implement cost control strategies and propose value engineering alternatives to enhance profitability. Prepare periodic cost reports, financial updates, and forecasts for internal and client stakeholders. Offer insights into cost-saving measures without compromising quality or compliance.

Contract Administration

Administer and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers. Ensure full compliance with contractual terms, payment schedules, deliverables, and performance criteria. Handle contractual claims, disputes, and resolutions in coordination with the legal and project teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in quantity surveying within the

facade and aluminum industries

(minimum 2-8 years preferred). Expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract negotiation for aluminum and glazing works. Strong understanding of technical drawings, facade systems, and construction methodologies. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Detail-focused with high levels of accuracy in estimating, reporting, and documentation.
