Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with 5 years of experience in UAE's metal & pergola industry, specializing in high-end villas and steel structures for our Metal division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, and financial reporting, ensuring that projects remain within budget while maintaining cost efficiency.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Generating BOQ and cutting lists for workshop production, detailing all required materials and dimensions.

2. Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and BOQs for the materials and equipment

3. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.

4. Analyzing project requirements and providing accurate quotations to clients within specified timeframes.

5. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials.

6. Reviewing and revising quotations as necessary based on project changes or client feedback and supporting operations manager case by case.

7. Studying drawings and ensuring all designs and quotations adhere to company standards, quality guidelines, and budget constraints.

8. Ensure that BOQs, tenders, and financial reports comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, DEWA, and DDA regulations.

9. Maintain a database of material costs, subcontractor rates, and market trends to support accurate cost forecasting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying

5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects

Advanced knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices

Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis

Proficiency in quantity surveying software

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
