Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our interior design and fit-out projects team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, contracting, and fit-out projects, and will be responsible for managing project costs, schedules, and vendor relations throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct project studies and prepare detailed quantity take-offs.

Prepare preliminary and actual cost estimates for projects.

Develop and maintain project schedules based on productivity rates and project milestones.

Monitor project progress, cost control, and financial reporting, including contractor invoices and variations.

Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, request quotations, and negotiate competitive pricing.

Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure seamless execution of interior fit-out works.

Prepare interim and final project accounts.

Ensure compliance with quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

Work both on-site and in the office to track progress and coordinate with contractors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Dubai, UAE, preferably in construction, contracting, and interior fit-out projects.

Strong technical skills including:

Quantity take-off and cost estimation (preliminary & actual)

Project scheduling and monitoring

Vendor and supplier management

Financial reporting and invoice management

Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, CostX/WinQS/Candy/Buildsoft, MS Project/Primavera.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.

Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations is a plus.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Salary: 5,000 - 7,000 AED, based on experience
