WE'RE HIRING: QUANTITY SURVEYOR / ESTIMATOR - INTERIOR FIT-OUT WORKS

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of quantity surveying and estimation for interior fit-out projects, including civil, MEP, and joinery works.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare bills of quantities by coordinating with design, procurement, and finance teams, ensuring all civil, MEP, and joinery works are included. Assist in costing, pricing, and analyzing direct and indirect costs for BOQ items.

2. Review and study tender drawings/documents to identify discrepancies, additional BOQ items, and scope changes. Incorporate these into tender offers and liaise with consultants for clarifications on contract scope.

3. Conduct site visits to take measurements and monitor project progress when required.

4. Analyze and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations during the bidding stage.

5. Assess and recommend subcontractor payments based on actual site progress, including valuing completed work and issuing payment requests to the finance department.

6. Review site requisitions and ensure they align with the approved BOQ.

7. Submit and negotiate contract variations, additional works, snags, and maintenance orders.

8. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for required quotations and inquiries.

9. Send inquiries and request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
Proficiency in AutoCAD for quantity take-offs.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
