Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong expertise in estimation for earthworks and roadworks projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documents, BOQs, and project budgets, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: o Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthworks, roadworks, and infrastructure projects. o Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender submissions, and cost breakdowns. o Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment. o Evaluate and compare subcontractor/supplier quotations. o Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations. o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams. o Prepare progress payment applications and final accounts. o Ensure compliance with contract conditions, drawings, and specifications. o Provide support in value engineering and cost optimization. Required Skills & Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field. o Proven experience in estimation for earthworks and roadworks projects. o Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent). o Proficiency in engineering and QS software such as: o AutoCAD o Primavera P6 / MS Project o CostX / Candy / PlanSwift / CCS o MS Excel and other MS Office tools o Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. o Strong communication and reporting skills. o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience: o 5+ years of relevant experience in the UAE/GCC construction sector. o Previous experience in infrastructure, highways, and large-scale earthworks projects.
