Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Quantity Surveyor
with around4 years of experience
in contracting construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, billing, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered within approved cost and time parameters.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates
based on drawings and specifications Monitorproject costs
, variations, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle Prepare and evaluateinterim payment certificates, progress bills, and final accounts
Managevariations, claims, and change orders
with consultants and clients Coordinate withsite engineers, project managers, and procurement teams
Verify subcontractor bills and recommend payments Assist intender preparation, contract documentation, and negotiations
Ensure compliance withcontractual terms, company policies, and project budgets
Prepare cost reports and highlight potential cost risks or savings Maintain proper documentation for audits and project close-outRequirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management
Minimum4 years of experience
as a Quantity Surveyor in acontracting construction company
Strong knowledge ofconstruction materials, methods, and local market rates
Experience inconstruction projects
(villas, buildings, infrastructure preferred) Proficient inMS Excel, AutoCAD
, and quantity take-off tools Familiarity withFIDIC contracts
is an advantage Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlinesJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
