The Quantity Surveyor will play a key managerial role in leading, planning, and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee financial and contractual aspects of construction activities, manage project resources, and ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring effective coordination among all departments.
Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, quantity surveyors, and site staff to achieve project milestones and objectives.
Develop and implement detailed project strategies, budgets, cost plans, and work schedules.
Prepare, review, and approve contracts, variations, procurement plans, and tender documents.
Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project costs and performance.
Monitor project progress, financial performance, and resource allocation; prepare regular progress and financial reports for senior management.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance evaluations for junior staff.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous project and organizational development.
