Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for civil construction, fit-out, and interior design projects.
Conduct on-site measurements and quantity take-offs to ensure precision in cost calculations
Conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, and subcontractor packages (especially for high-end finishes, joinery, and MEP fit-outs).
Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide cost forecasting.
Evaluate tender submissions and recommend award decisions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design integrity.
Mitigate risks related to delays, material shortages, and design changes.
Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to align budgets with design intent.
Provide monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and profitability analysis
Liaising with clients to identify their needsEstimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour
Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards
Analyze contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify potential cost implications
Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims
Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
Collaborate with contractors, and suppliers to optimize project costs
Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai
