We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor specializing in Aluminum and Facade works to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of projects, from initial estimation to final account settlement, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for aluminum and facade projects.
Review and evaluate project specifications, drawings, and contracts to identify cost implications.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs for procurement and project execution.
Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive prices.
Monitor and control project costs, identifying and reporting any cost variances.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor payment applications.
Prepare and submit interim valuations, final accounts, and variation claims.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones within budget.
Maintain accurate cost records and documentation for future reference.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and UAE regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum
5-8
years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying for Aluminum & Facade works in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of aluminum and facade systems, materials, and installation processes.
Proficiency in MS Office and QS-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or equivalent).
Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills
UAE Driving License.
Experience with both commercial and high-rise residential facade projects.
Strong vendor and subcontractor network in the UAE market.
