Our client a leading company in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor.

Job responsibilities.

1.Supports the Construction Director / Project Manager / Planning & Design Director / Design Manager in review of Construction Document / Design Documents/ Tender Document as prepared by external consultants/ contractors
2.Supports Construction Director/ Project Manager / Planning &Design Director / Design Manager in request for tender and tender evaluation process, such as - identification of list of bidders, support in technical evaluation (cost) etc.
3.Verifies the measurement and value of work completed in order to ensure that payments are made correctly.
4.Verifies the disputes /arbitration with respect to claims and prepares the Claim Review Report.
5.Ensures the Claims Review report is approved by the relevant approval authority and payments are made on time.
6.Co-ordinates with the claimant and resolves the claim in case of non approval from the relevant authority.
7.Supporting assessing the impact of request for change on the project cost and program.
8. Conducts verification of the final Bill of Quantity for the purpose of closure of construction phase.
9.Supports the Project Manager ni carrying out physical verification of completion of work for closure of construction phase.
10.Performs any other relevant task as directed by Construction Director / Planning & Design Director.
11.ME experience is required to evaluate the executed work done or the additional works.
