Quality & Support Engineer - Dubai, Full Time
We are looking for a Quality & Support Engineer to join our client's IT & Technology team in Dubai. As a Quality & Support Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of critical digital platforms through both automated testing and end-user support.
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to uphold high software quality standards, manage incident resolution, and continuously improve the user experience for both internal stakeholders and clients across regional operations.
Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation & Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright. Ensure application functionality and UI meet requirements through end-to-end testing and integration into CI/CD pipelines. Log, track, and support resolution of bugs.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first and second-level support for application issues. Diagnose problems via log analysis, coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor application health and performance, apply updates and patches, and ensure system compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Incident & Change Management: Participate in incident resolution and support the rollout of system changes. Document issues, fixes, and updates to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • User Enablement & Training: Support onboarding, conduct training sessions, and maintain user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and user experience. Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience:
4-6 years in QA, test automation, or application support. Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing, issue resolution, and working in cross-functional tech teams.
  • Technical Skills:
Proficient with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium), scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or Java), SQL, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and application monitoring tools.
  • Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Desirable:
Background in insurance or financial services, experience with performance or security testing.
  • Soft Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
