To ensure catering operations comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards by monitoring processes, training staff, and implementing corrective measures to maintain consistent product and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO, FHC regulations).
Conduct routine inspections of kitchen, storage, food preparation, packing, and service areas.
Verify food temperatures, storage practices, and hygiene protocols.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and checklists.
Identify risks, non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Train catering staff on hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
Ensure accurate labeling, expiry monitoring, and allergen information management.
Investigate customer complaints related to food quality or safety and implement preventive measures.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure suppliers meet food safety requirements.
Maintain quality records, audit reports, and compliance documentation.
Support in internal/external audits and certifications.
