- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in the Oil and Gas sector.
- The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that our products and processes meet industry standards and regulations.
- The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a strong understanding of quality management principles within the oil and gas field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards for products, materials, and processes in the oil and gas sector.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality tests on components, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and project requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
- Investigate and analyze root causes of quality problems, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and oversee their implementation.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure external products and materials meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and certification agencies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, including data analysis, trends, and improvement recommendations.
- Assist in the development and review of project documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and specifications.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiar with ISO-9001 QMS and NDT Level-2 certifications in (RT/UT/PT/MT).
- Proven experience in quality engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and practices relevant to oil and gas operations.
- Proficiency in conducting various quality tests, inspections, and non-destructive testing methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
