Overview:
Looking for an ambitious, passionate and creative-minded Quality Assurance Engineer, to help in establishing and maintaining set requirements for developing or manufacturing reliable products.

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Provide detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate new testing activities for new products and features
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

About G42
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Proven hands-on QA experience on API, web application etc.
- Proficient in test automation and testing frameworks
- Proven track record of creating test plans and writing test cases based on product requirements
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and scripting in Python, Shell etc.
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Experience in working in an agile/scrum environment
