Job Description

To carry out pre diagnosis steps to ensure customer complaints are clearly identified prior to the vehicle entering the workshop. To ensure all relevant technical trends are communicated to the Workshop Manager for processing. To assist the relevant team members with hands on technical assistance and advice. To inform the Workshop Manager of any highly technical faults that may need assistance to repair. On occasions will be required to attend outside technical assistance to customers. Carry out daily quality control testing as per guidelines to ensure all performed work is to the highest standard. Submit a detailed weekly quality control report to the workshop manager to identify possible trends and training requirements. To monitor return work and identify possible trends with repairs and employees Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates these objectives with other managers. Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to formulate dealership standards. Investigates and corrects customer complaints regarding quality. Inspects all recently purchased and comeback vehicles to ensure proper correction and condition of vehicle. Meets monthly with dispatcher and service manager to determine if any recurring problems need to be addressed. Maintains professional appearance. Other tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Dealership experience required Proficient at an assortment of customer service tasks Able to narrow scope of vehicle issues based on customer descriptions Skilled at articulating vehicle related issues with auto staff Adept at handling customer complaints in a professional, efficient manner Extensive knowledge of common auto terminology Ability to work in fast-paced environments
