Job Description

The Project QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction or fit-out activities comply with quality standards and project specifications. This role involves planning, implementing, and supervising quality control procedures at the project site, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining documentation for audits and client reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor project-specific quality control plans and procedures. Conduct inspections and testing of materials, workmanship, and completed activities. Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, ITPs, and material submittals. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team to resolve quality issues. Review and approve method statements and inspection test plans. Ensure that all activities are performed according to the approved QMS (Quality Management System). Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities. Monitor the calibration and use of testing equipment on-site. Provide technical guidance on quality-related issues to project teams. Maintain detailed records for client handover and project closeout.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of QC experience in the construction or interior fit-out industry. Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, local construction codes, etc.). Familiar with inspection procedures, method statements, and material specifications. Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Office; experience with QA/QC software tools is a plus.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
