Position: Quality Controller

Location: Dubai Investment Park 2 - Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

? Inspect raw materials, such as wood, panels, marbles, fabrics, or metals, to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects.

? Monitor production stages (carpentry, polishing, assembly, packing) to ensure adherence to quality standards

? Inspect each product to ensure it is ready for shipping. This includes verifying functional aspects (strength, stability) and aesthetic aspects (finish, colors, textures). Also check that the products meet specific customer requirements and any applicable safety regulations.

? Identify, document, and resolve defects or deviations at all stages of production

? Maintain inspection records, quality checklists, rejection reports, and logs

? Collaborate with production, polishing, and dispatch teams to address and correct quality issues

? Recommend improvements in workflows and processes to enhance product quality

? Ensure full compliance with internal standards, technical drawings, and industry regulations

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field

? Minimum 1-3 years of QC experience in joinery, carpentry, marble, or fabric production

? Great rigor, a keen eye, and in-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and the standards in effect in the furniture industry

? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

? Skilled in using measuring instruments and QC tools

? Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

? Excellent documentation and communication skills
