Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Quality Control Technician

to ensure that products and processes meet the company's quality standards. The QC Technician will conduct inspections, perform tests, and document results to maintain high-quality production and compliance with industry regulations in a chemical plant or factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Conduct routine tests, measurements, and quality checks using standard QC procedures and equipment. Record, analyze, and report inspection and test results accurately. Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and report them to supervisors. Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions. Maintain QC equipment and ensure proper calibration. Support audits and compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant quality standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain consistent product quality. Maintain accurate QC documentation, including test reports and inspection logs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma

in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant

Quality Control certifications

(e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, GMP, or laboratory/chemical QC certification) are an advantage.

2-3 years of experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing inspection within a chemical plant, production facility, or factory environment.

Knowledge of QC procedures, lab equipment, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and reporting. Basic understanding of safety protocols and chemical handling (if applicable). Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping.

Preference for candidates locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID
