Responsibilities
Job Scope:
Perform the quality control and inspection related activities of the facility. Organize/ delegate various inspection tasks to inspectors
Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure the production of finished products which met quality specifications and standards & customer QCP\xe2\x80\x99s.
Confer with management, customers and other representative in planning, scheduling and coordinating the quality plans in conformance with customer requirements, engineering specifications and production schedules.
To plan, organize & schedule inspection activities & provide solutions to technical questions & guide the inspectors.
To carry out the inspection related activities at various inspection stages i.e. Receiving, In-process, Final.
Perform Dimensional and visual inspection in conjunction with controlled drawings and applicable specifications.
To perform and/or oversee Non-Destructive Testing Procedures and Techniques being carried out by internal or external personnel including Dye Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing , Hardness and Pressure Testing to ensure that all acceptance criteria has been met.
Function as the company\xe2\x80\x99s representative for the applicable third-party inspections for various jobs completed.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Assist in the investigation of product defects and failures and recommend modification in products, processes or quality standards where such appear to be warranted.
Training other Inspectors on processes as needed.
Identify the root of quality/technical issues and recommend fixes
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Work and collaborate with Cross Functional team to achieve set goals
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field
Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an \xe2\x80\x98inspection\xe2\x80\x99 role within a similar manufacturing facility
Skills and Knowledge:
Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an \xe2\x80\x98inspection\xe2\x80\x99 role within a similar manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/18001 QHSE Management Systems
Should be certified at least to ASNT Level II
Excellent understanding of different inspection techniques
Advanced knowledge of inspection processes.
Must be able to read understand & implement engineering drawing & QCP\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
Good communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
