to ensure that our products and processes meet defined quality standards and customer expectations. The QC Specialist will be responsible for inspecting materials and final products, monitoring production processes, and identifying and resolving quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and reports.
Identify defects or deviations and communicate findings to relevant departments.
Assist in root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly.
Participate in internal audits and support quality assurance activities.
Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure consistent quality.
Support training initiatives related to quality procedures and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in [industry - e.g., manufacturing, Furniture, Beddings & Mattresses].
Knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality control software/tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to relocate/travel to Umm Al Quwain
