Role Overview

We are hiring a Quality Control Specialist to ensure that all garments produced meet our brand's standards for fit, finish, and construction. This role is hands-on, based in our production facility, and works closely with tailors, finishers, and the production manager to inspect, report, and resolve defects before pieces are shipped to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect garments at all stages of production including post-cutting, mid-sewing, and final finishing Identify stitching issues, fabric defects, sizing inconsistencies, label errors, and finishing flaws Reject, document, and escalate faulty products for correction or remake Maintain daily QC logs with issue types, team accountability, and resolution timelines Ensure all garments match approved patterns, size charts, and technical specs Verify that each item meets packaging and presentation standards before handoff to fulfillment Monitor recurring errors and report patterns to the Production Manager for process improvement Assist in training production staff on QC expectations and methods

Requirements

2+ years of experience in garment quality control, tailoring, or technical fashion production Strong knowledge of garment construction and inspection techniques Ability to spot minor defects quickly and consistently under time pressure Comfortable using measuring tools and quality checklists Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail Fluent in English.

What Success Looks Like

Less than 2% of orders returned due to quality issues Zero garments shipped with visible defects or packaging errors Real-time feedback loops between QC and production to reduce repeat issues Clean, updated quality logs that highlight accountability and improvements
