A Quality Assurance specialist is responsible for the implementation of the QHSE management system particularly in the warehouse and transport, carrying out training, closely monitoring the performance of the warehouse and transport team, performing self-inspections on facility, product, and transport QHSE control, and completing batch records for value-added services

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Comply with company policies, procedures, and practices

• Act only in ways that advance DSV objectives, values, and reputation.
• Ensure compliance of the DSV team with all relevant company and customer policies, procedures, and practices.
• Support in conducting training and implementation of QHSE SOPs and Customer specific SOPs according to international and local Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practices as well as customer requirements.
• Review and inspect facility-related documents including but not limited to cleaning, maintenance, pest control, and temperature monitoring.
• Responsible for maintaining an effective date QHSE documentation system.
• Perform internal inspection as delegated by reporting manager as per schedule, prepare inspection report, and follow up on observation closure.
• Report cases on compliance to reporting manager in a timely manner and support in preparing the needed mitigation measures.
• Participate in complaint and NCR review on a case-by-case basis, providing support to customer service and warehouse team in investigations, performing route cause analysis, supporting in corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) report preparation, and following up until case closure.
• Support reporting Manager in coordination and prompt action in case of any recall operations for products.
• Participate in quality meetings within the department.
• Run ad hoc inspections and walk through to verify operation compliance at the warehouse.

• Operations.

• Support in preparation of and training on Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of non-confirming results related to either reconciliation or production activities.
• Support to issue Safe Work Permit, Accident / Incident Investigation, Conduct the Toolbox and deliver the QHSE Trainings
• Maintenance of logs, batch records, and all applicable documentation in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 specifications, and internal standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for the quality department and support other departments in the implementation and update of respective procedures.

16. Attend to other duties as directed by the reporting Manager.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Bachelor\'s degree (Preferably in Engineering)
• Nebosh I. Dip.
• IRCA Approved lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• UAE Driving License with the car must.
• Proficient in all MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS - Visio)
• Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
• Well organized, work accurately with confident
• Ability to handle pressure situations
• Good teamwork skills, flexible and initiative taker
• Presentable and well-groomed at all times
• Able to prepare reports and presentations
• Act ethically and with integrity
• At all times uphold the image of the company
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in a Warehouse and Transport Industry is of advantage
• Additional knowledge of DG Goods, SEDEX, TAPA, and FSMS would be an advantage
