Responsibilities: Weatherford currently have an exciting opportunity for an experience Quality Assurance Specialist to join the team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of the WES (Weatherford Energy Services) / R&M (Repair & Maintenance) company's policies, procedures, and standards involved in assuring the quality of repair and maintenance, manufactured products and customer satisfaction. The Quality Assurance Specialist strives to ensure facility adhere to quality licenses, standards and certifications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with functional areas such R&M, Manufacturing, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Product Lines and Geozones on a regular basis as well as present to internal teams plans and updates.

QUALITY
  • Responsible for being familar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System.
  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
OPERATIONS
  • Ensure that customer expectations (internal and external) are being met.
  • Responsible for supporting internal audits conducted by Weatherford internal auditors and coordinating external audits of our facilities, processes, and personnel competency.
  • Ensure that all job data, NCRs (non-conformance reports), CPAR (corrective preventative action reports), audit findings etc. are prepared, reviewed and approved in WPTS (Weatherford Performance Tracking System) and reported to management on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor NCR and CPAR data for negative trends and provide support for the implementation of corrective actions that mitigate recurring nonconformances.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure that the required improvements are sustained.
  • Maintain site Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Supervise Calibration activities utilizing TDME (testing device and measuring equipment).
  • Perform regular process audits in R&M and Manufacturing areas, functional areas, as well as within technical work instructions, processes, procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Actively participate in Contract Reviews.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are built into Quality Control plans or OCPs (operating control procedures) as required.
  • Coordinate Client visits and constant communication to demonstrate our commitment and promote the Weatherford Quality Management System.
  • Address Client issues / complaints.
  • Responsible for management of change as process and procedures are updated as per QMS (quality management system) requirements.
  • Review work orders and ensure work instructions are followed and provide positive and negative feedback to ensure continual performance improvement.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Quality Manager within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
  • Identify minimum of two continuous improvement projects to lead and complete with measurable improvement to the business in terms of margin, quality, etc.
COMMUNICATION
  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
  • Maintains effective communications with external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, TPIs).
FINANCIAL
  • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses.
  • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure.
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
  • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance and business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience.
  • Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • 8 years of experience with ISO-9001.
  • Excellent English communication skills - written, read and verbal.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software at a minimum.
  • Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, and willingness to help.
  • Certified Auditor.
Preferred:
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience.
  • Fluency in Arabic communication skills – written, read and verbal.
  • Certified Lead Auditor.
  • Root Cause Analysis implementation experience.
