Job SummaryAmentum has an opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist in Kuwait.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:. Ensures effective implementation of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and Quality Control Plan.. Acts as point of contact with customer quality surveillance entities to ensure that customer requirements and expectations are being achieved.. Assists with continual process improvement initiatives.. Monitors customer complaints and works to ensure that effective corrective actions plans are developed and implemented.. Implements performance metric analysis and status reporting process.. Conducts quality self-assessments using Amentum project quality assessment guidelines.. Conducts Quality related training as required (i.e., ISO awareness, root cause analysis, corrective action, process improvement). Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum RequirementsEducation:. High school diploma or equivalent Experience:. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Quality Specialist, or equivalent, role.Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:. Possess quality management system knowledge in accordance with applicable industry and current ISO 9001 quality standard requirements.. Possess the ability to analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements in quality system processes. Past experience utilizing Lean / Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies highly preferred.. Capable of developing management level presentations and reports. . Requires a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork. . Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and other related applications.. Effectively plan and organize assigned work with a focus on matters of significance.. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.. Work independently with minimal supervision.Certification, License & Clearance:. Secret Clearance is required. . Must be a U.S CitizenWork Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.. Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.. Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Preferred Qualifications Certification, License & Clearance:Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification highly preferred
