Job Description

Reporting to the Quality & Food Safety Supervisor. Basic Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles. Inspect, monitor and verify Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on Dubai Municipality standard and international best practices. Monitor compliance of operational workflows in accordance with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS). Inspect raw materials, packing materials and finished products using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring weights and examining functionality. Checking that the production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements. Proposing improvements to the production process. Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and propose maintenance if any that do not meet standard. Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs. Monitor regular reporting and logging standards including immediate corrective action reporting in case of interruptions, malfunctions, maintenance of equipment and time-temperature reporting. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor. Assist the Supervisor during any type's of inspection by external supplier as well Dubai Municipality. Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the quality, maintenance, sanitation and hygiene efforts/program. Propose and maintain minimum standards in all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to adhere at all times to required hygiene standards. Monitors, assists and performs all procedures and protocols for maintaining an excellent sanitation and hygienic environment. Monitor temperature compliance of the delivery vans are maintained.
