Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to establish and maintain effective safety and environmental procedures, training programs, and emergency response plans.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on QHSE-related matters, including risk assessments, safety procedures, and environmental management practices.
  • Keep abreast of changes in QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices within the oil and gas industry and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, contractors, and industry organizations, to promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present QHSE reports, presentations, and training materials to management and staff as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Professional certification in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, API, ISO, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and QHSE management software.
  • Willingness to travel to various work sites and facilities as required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
