Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QC Supervisor to oversee and manage all quality control activities for our Ready Mix operations. The candidate will ensure all concrete production, materials, testing, and site deliveries meet the required standards, specifications, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day quality control operations in batching plants and sites Ensure concrete production meets mix design, slump, strength, and quality standards Monitor batching procedures, raw materials, and moisture corrections Conduct site inspections before and during concrete pouring Review and approve mix designs, trial mixes, and material testing Coordinate cube casting, sampling, and compressive strength testing Prepare and maintain QC reports, cube logs, NCR reports, and calibration records Ensure compliance with project specifications, ASTM/BS standards, and company procedures Train and guide lab technicians, batching plant operators, and QC staff Communicate with clients, consultants, and site engineers to resolve quality issues Investigate and close non-conformities and quality-related complaints Ensure proper calibration of lab equipment and batching plant sensors Monitor raw material quality (cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures)
Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 5 years QC experience in Ready Mix / Concrete industry Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix designs, and QC procedures Understanding of ASTM, BS, and local municipality standards Experience with slump testing, cube testing, and plant calibration Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple sites Immediate joiners preferred
