to lead and manage the full procurement cycle for our Ready Mix operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of building materials, plant & equipment spare parts, logistics coordination, and vendor negotiation within the ready-mix or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, source, and procure materials such as cement, aggregates, admixtures, chemicals, diesel, spare parts, tyres, and plant consumables.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
Review and approve LPOs, quotations, price comparisons, and procurement reports.
Coordinate with batching plants, site teams, and maintenance departments to ensure timely material availability.
Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Monitor market trends, material prices, and stock requirements.
Ensure all purchases follow company policies and cost-control procedures.
Track deliveries, maintain procurement records, and resolve supply issues.
Work closely with Accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-up.
Generate weekly and monthly procurement summaries for management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
4-6 years of UAE experience
in Purchasing, preferably in
Ready Mix / Construction / Concrete materials
.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
Good knowledge of local suppliers, market pricing, and logistics.
Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
Excellent communication, planning, and multitasking abilities.
Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
