We are looking for a
QC Inspector - E&I
for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE - Site based - Flexible to work on several sites
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 24 months - extendable based on project requirement
Work Schedule: Working on site will be 8 to 10-hour shifts - 6 days per week
Qualification and Experience Required:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in E&I inspection roles in Oil & Gas projects
Services Description
Inspect installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems as per project specifications and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, API, etc.).
Ensure compliance with approved construction drawings, vendor documents, and client specifications.
Conduct inspections for cable laying, glanding, termination, loop checking, and continuity tests.
Verify installation of electrical panels, transformers, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Review ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), checklists, and ensure proper documentation of inspection records.
Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, commissioning, and client teams for punch list clearing and final acceptance.
Witness functional testing of control systems including DCS, PLCs, ESD, and Fire & Gas systems.
Ensure safety practices and adherence to PTW (Permit to Work) system during inspections.
