Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer with an Oil & Gas manufacturing background.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for tubing thread gauging and assess visual status for threads
  • Undertake inspections according to inspection and control plans
  • Document inspection results
  • Identify, set aside and document all suspect or defective products
  • Return products for repair; confirm repairs and product quality
  • Operate precise instruments for measuring;
  • Communicate visual and dimensional product quality standards to line operators
  • Maintain and update quality inspector records
  • Follow legal regulations for a safe and healthy work space
  • Review and approve material certificates
Qualifications:
Up to 5 years of experience in manufacturing/ inspection
NDT certified for MT, PT, VT , UT and EMI
ISO 9001 lead auditors or API Q1
Good Knowledge in DS1 Cat. 5 inspection requirements
Good knowledge with thread surface treatment requirements
Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings and diagrams
Excellent communication skills with everyone involved in the process (managers, operators and leads)
Fluent in English written and verbal
Literacy in Microsoft Word , Excel and power point
Must be an Egyptian national
