Senior Automation QC Engineer Department: Product Development Role Objective: Responsible for performing all Automation & Manual Quality Control tasks through the software development cycles for Projects/Products from test designs to test executions Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 1. Review Business Requirements, System Requirements and Wireframes for different Products/Projects to be able to create the automation test suites / cases. 2. Creating, enhancing, debugging the automation test suites / cases for the Products / Projects. 3. Designing and developing test automation scripts. 4. Executing recorded test suites / cases & follow up the Failed / Success Results. 5. Report the Failed test suites / cases to the development team & follow any needed details about it. 6. Generate the Analytical Reports about the test suites / cases execution. 7. Maintaining all the changes on the test suites / cases / scripts due to the system Enhancements / Modifications. 8. Strong knowledge in the automation tool development language or script. 9. Connect the created test suites / cases with the requirements, and measure the coverage for it. 10. Prepare "Manual Test Cases" for different Products/Projects. 11. Provide proper estimation for their allocated Tasks on Products/Projects. 12. Perform different Manual Testing Types, whether they are "Functional Tests" or "NonFunctional Tests" for different Products/Services. 13. Communicate & discuss issues related to Projects/Products with different team members. 14. Prepare "User Acceptance Test Cases" for the Products/Projects. 15. Participate in Testing Tools evaluation, when needed. Education & Qualifications: 1. BSc in Computer Science or relevant IT field 2. Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus 3. Additional certification in Development Language is a plus Experience 4 - 8 years' work experience in similar role Hands-on experience with Automation Quality Control using one or more Automation Tools and testing methodologies for Software Projects/Products Soft Skills 1. Native Arabic Speaking 2. Very Good / Excellent in English System skills required: 1. Development Language(s) & Automation Tools Scripting Languages 2. MS Office suite 3. Bug Reporting Systems Technical Competencies: 1. Hands-on experience with any of the Development Language(s) and or Scripting Language for 1 or more Automation Tools. 2. Hands-on experience with Quality Control and testing methodologies for Software Projects/Products 3. Understanding of Business Documentations / Wireframes / UI Job Type: Full-time Salary: KD700.000 - KD800.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
