The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring that all construction activities meet project specifications, Dubai Municipality regulations, and international quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to maintain consistent workmanship and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection
Inspect structural, architectural, and MEP works (e.g., concreting, formwork, rebar, blockwork, finishing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Verify that materials and workmanship comply with project specifications, drawings, and approvals.
Conduct inspections at various stages of construction (pre-pour, post-pour, installation, finishing).
Monitor subcontractor work for compliance with quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain inspection requests (IRs) and material inspection requests (MIRs).
Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain quality records, checklists, and test reports.
Assist in preparing method statements and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).

Standards & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DM/DEWA, and other regulatory requirements.
Verify materials with approvals from relevant authorities (DM, Civil Defense, etc.).
Conduct site audits and quality checks per ISO 9001 standards.

Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors for inspections and approvals.
Liaise with third-party testing agencies for lab and field tests.
Participate in site meetings to resolve quality-related issues.

Health & Safety Collaboration
Support HSE teams in ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Report unsafe practices that may affect quality.
Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Experience:
3-8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within high-rise or large-scale construction projects.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.
Certifications (advantageous):
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
QA/QC Certification
Dubai Municipality or Trakhees approvals
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of construction codes (ACI, BS, ASTM, ASME, etc.)
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and material standards
Familiarity with ITPs, method statements, and quality control documentation
