Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer - Structural Steel to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in structural steel fabrication, erection, and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and uphold the project's Quality Management System in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.

Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure full compliance for all structural steel works.

Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, fabricated components, and on-site installations.

Prepare, update, and maintain all QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test records, NCRs, and corrective action reports.

Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, and third-party inspectors to facilitate efficient quality control processes.

Oversee welding, bolting, and coating operations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Ensure all inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated.

Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors on quality-related issues.

Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of any audit findings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 2

+

years of UAE experience in QA/QC roles for structural steel projects.

UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of international standards such as AWS D1.1, AISC, ASTM, BS EN, and ISO.

Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
