Job Opening: QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical - Oil & Gas)



Key Responsibilities:



Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for mechanical systems, piping, welding, and fabrication works Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with

ASME

,

API

,

ISO

, and project-specific standards Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and material submittals Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure quality compliance Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, and QA/QC reports Support audits and client inspections, ensuring readiness and full compliance Identify quality risks and recommend preventive measures to mitigate non-conformities

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent 3-5 years of QA/QC experience in the

Oil & Gas sector

(preferably upstream/downstream projects) Strong knowledge of welding procedures, NDT techniques, and mechanical codes Familiarity with QA/QC documentation workflows and project handover requirements UPDA/QCDD Approved Certification in

CSWIP

,

AWS

, or

API

is highly desirable Excellent communication and reporting skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously
