Role Description-

QAQC Engineer for Qatar

We are seeking a meticulous and hands-on QA/QC Engineer in Qatar to ensure our fit-out projects are executed to the highest standards from start to finish. You will be the critical link between project plans and perfect execution, responsible for the quality of every detail--from the first site inspection to the final handover

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will be directly responsible for implementing and maintaining our quality management system on-site, with a focus on:

Site Inspections & Surveillance:

Conduct daily inspections of all fit-out trades: architectural finishes, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), joinery, ceilings, partitions, and flooring.

Perform pre-installation meetings and monitor hold/witness points as per ITPs. Identify and document non-conformities, issuing corrective action reports (NCRs) and ensuring timely closure.

Handover Document Preparation:

Compile, review, and manage the complete suite of project handover documents (O&M Manuals). Ensure all test reports, material submittals, inspection records, warranties, and as-built drawings are accurate, complete, and ready for client submission.

Material & Sample Approvals:

Manage the material submittal and approval process. Physically review material deliveries against approved submittals and samples.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of proven QA/QC experience specifically in commercial interior fit-out projects. In-depth knowledge of fit-out finishes, materials, and installation standards. Expertise in preparing handover documentation (O&M Manuals) and quality records. Strong eye for detail and a zero-tolerance approach to poor workmanship. Excellent command of English and [Local Language, if applicable].Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and digital snagging tools (e.g., PlanRadar, SnagR).

Highly Desirable:

Professional certification (e.g., CQI/IRCA, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).Experience with luxury or high-specification fit-out projects. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
