Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, test plans, and testing procedures.
Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Design and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
Identify, report, and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor QA effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
Ensure release readiness and compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field (or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a QA Lead, QA Manager, or Senior QA Engineer.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with both manual and automated testing.
Hands on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
Familiarity with performance, security, and regression testing.
Experience testing SaaS products or ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
QA certification (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.).
Experience in process improvement initiatives within QA teams.
