A leading food company is seeking an experienced and competent Procurement Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for purchasing food and services needed for the company, with a focus on quality, cost, and speed of delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchasing materials and supplies from approved suppliers.
- Evaluating suppliers in terms of price, quality, and delivery time, with a focus on local suppliers within the UAE.
- Negotiating contracts and delivery terms to ensure the best value and minimize risk.
- Coordinating with the Sales Manager, company managers, and other departments to determine material requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures.
- Track purchase orders, ensure delivery dates, and resolve any supply issues.
- Update purchasing records and supplier performance reports.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement in the food sector within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of food products and local market needs.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Odoo or Zoho, in addition to MS Office.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
