We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Officer to join our contracting team. The ideal candidate must be a Civil Engineer with solid experience in procurement within the UAE construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
Prepare and review purchase orders, supplier agreements, and contracts.
Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a strong vendor network.
Conduct market research to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
Follow company procurement procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer in UAE contracting companies.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and market pricing.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7.00 - AED10.00 per month
