Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description

The Purchasing Coordinator works within the Support Department and is responsible for the integrity of our purchasing & inventory system and companywide communications regarding changes to the system. The Purchasing Coordinator works closely with the Purchasing Manager and finance department. Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Purchase Manager in developing and maintaining the process, procedures and ensuring compliancy and recommending the most effective procurement routes.
  • Process the purchase request and assisting colleagues.
  • Assisting colleagues for Creating Purchase requisition
  • Assist Purchase Manager in Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
  • Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure IPR are created according to the budget.
  • Evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Maintain detailed computerized records of purchases, including quantities ordered and received, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase
  • Compile and submit records to the accounting department to support financial management and reporting
  • Maintain database on OneDrive
  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
  • Checking the Tax entries and correcting the if there is any mistakes
  • Keeping the documents for VAT audit and Final audit.
  • Assisting colleagues for the events registration.
  • Taking hand over of colleagues who is going for leave
  • Providing IPR (Sage) Training
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in any finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills to read, update, evaluate and maintain various records and files.
  • Skill to access, operate and maintain various software applications.
  • Skill to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
  • Skill to perform routine to moderately complex mathematical computations and tabulations accurately and efficiently, as they relate to purchasing.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
